Shoe Fitting Help

We understand. Shopping for shoes online can be difficult. It's why we created this page to help you get a better understanding of your foot size. An accurate foot measurement will assist you in finding the appropriate shoe size. We usually recommend choosing a shoe that's 1/2 to 1 full size longer than your measurement (i.e. a foot measurement of 8.5 may require a size 9 or 9.5 shoe). Sandals on the other hand can usually be fitted true to size, as they are open at the toe.

For additional help with your online shoe fitting, please text or call us on (604) 267-7463 to communicate with one of our pedorthists. We're happy to assist you with product selection.

Step 1: Print our Measuring Tool Document

To ensure the document prints to actual size, be sure to print it without printer margins in its actual size. Once printed, verify the printout for accuracy with a ruler.

Step 2: Measuring the Foot

Tape the two pages together. Line up ruler with the heel line. Push the heel up against the ruler. Align the inside of the foot with the arch line and then add weight to your foot. Mark the end of the longest toe (in some cases this may be your second or third toe). Mark the widest part of the foot. Repeat this on your other foot.

If you require additional help, mark the length from the arch line to the widest part of your foot for both the right and left foot, take a picture of your inner arch profile (both feet), as well as a photo of the top of your foot (both feet). Submit this information to vancouver@footsolutions.com with your contact information and we will get back to you to assist you in choosing the perfect product.
